What starts off as a somewhat green and vegetal fougère-style fragrance, quickly settles into a wonderful powdery floral featuring iris and violet. The iris almost comes off as sweet as it does powdery while it plays with the amber notes but the cedar adds a sharper dry note that balances beautifully with the greener violet. All together, they create a fresh, crisp, and dashing fragrance that is a bit reminiscent of shaving soap at times. This is made for an adult that is well-regarded and always known to dress well. This person has impeccable manners and will never steer you wrong. Jane quipped, “this is the Gregory Peck of fragrances,” and that sums it up perfectly.
