Violette Hay

Summary:

There is such an inspiring medley of spicy-powdery notes in the opening that continue to add depth almost note by note as it travels towards the fruity-earthy middle. The apricot plays beautifully with the saffron to create this soft leather accord that is cushioned even more by the musk in its base. The hay is very present and definitely scratchy but never too dry. It’s almost like patchouli without the green. It’s there for texture and depth while you’re enveloped by a smooth, luxurious suede and cool violet.
